Bleach is one of the most corrosive and deadly chemicals that can still be found everywhere. To me, it is scary and inconceivable to see how many households, schools, offices, etc. still use bleach on a regular basis, as if unaware of how dangerous it is for our health and how critical it is for our planet. Especially with all the natural safe alternatives we have. So do yourself and the planet: stop using bleach as of today! And I will show you that with one single ingredient you will never need to use bleach again.
What you will need:
- Hydrogen Peroxyde 3%
What to do:
- To brighten your whites, add 1 cup of hydrogen peroxyde to each laundry load directly in your washing machine.
- To remove stains on your whites, mix 2 parts hydrogen peroxide with 1 part liquid soap and apply to your stains. Let it sit several hours. Then wash as usual.
- To disinfect any area (bathroom, toilet, kitchen counter, etc.) spray hydrogen peroxyde, let it sit for a few minutes and rinse.
In conclusion:
There are other natural alternatives of course, such as vinegar to disinfect, lemon juice and sun to brighten your whites, etc etc. But the fact is that hydrogen peroxide is easy and safe to use, cheap to buy, and odorless. But most importantly it will get the job done. And guess what? It can do a lot more!
