Keep all those lotions and moisturizers!

You know all those body lotions and moisturizers that you don’t use or want anymore? Maybe they just expired, or maybe you’re like me and you received them as gifts, yet because you know that they are full of chemicals you will not use them on your skin.  Well do no throw them away, because you can put them to good use for all your leathers. Leather needs to be moisturized to look good and moisturizers and body lotions are wonderful for that. Here’s how it goes:

What you will need:

• Any kind of moisturizer or body lotion
• a piece of cotton cloth

What to do:

1. Take your leather shoes, leather bag or any leather item you have and smear the moisturizer or lotion generously and all over it with a cotton cloth.
2. Leave it overnight in order for the leather to absorb it.
3. Remove any leftover cream/lotion with your cotton cloth if necessary.

In conclusion:

Not only will your leather be looking shiny and wonderful, but you will also have put to good use that lotion instead of throwing it away!
